Review: Mr. Marmalade
Mr. Marmalade Spreads Well
A Review by Bradley Troll
Girl meets boy. Girl falls in love. Boy isn’t what she thought he was going to be. He cheats; he’s perverted; he’s a drug addict; he’s abusive. Girl begins to change who she is as a person just to keep the undeserving boy. Girl must learn to leave the cruel relationship and have confidence in herself. Oh, and the girl is four and the boy is imaginary. No, Lifetime’s not launching a new children’s network, it’s the hilarious comedy Mr. Marmalade by Noah Haidle, presented by NOLA Project at Muriel’s Cabaret at Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre.
